Working as 'Nomad Remote Digital Studio' I offer human-centred, on brand, creative, but still ultra-functional digital tech, web design and user experience training that helps individuals and brands grow their digital teams and virtual communities.

As a mindset, my mix of design and digital is pragmatic, co-creative, and hands-on; it looks for a balance between technological opportunity, human need, and business relevance.

I talk about customers and users first; I see 'products' only as the avatars of a business relationship, I respond to assumptions by suggesting research, reject opinion and endless discussion in favour of testing prototypes and speedy re-iteration.

I offer a unique collaborative approach when working together, with digital advice and training baked right in to the design process.

Working as part of internal teams and struggling to convince senior management to embrace user experience design has shown me how ineffectual it can be to try to change business culture from the inside.

So now I work from an outside perspective and approach organisations and their teams from a consultants' perspective to ensure they get the crucial message of embracing user experience, design thinking and digital technologies to improve and support their customer's experiences, online and offline...
